Gateway to the Arts

Singing increases poise, self-esteem, and presentation skills. Singing strengthens concentration and memory, while developing the lungs and promoting superior posture. Singing broadens expressive communication and animates the body, mind, and spirit! We offer private voice lessons, Voice Classes, A Cappella classes, and Musical Theatre classes!

Contact us to schedule a private voice lesson, or view our class schedule for information on group classes!

Physical, emotional, cerebral, musical, artistic, athletic… the benefits of dance education reach every facet of a child’s development and promote self-esteem, self-discipline, teamwork, time-management, and dedication. We offer Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Acrobatic, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre classes for all ages and levels of experience!

Students who take acting classes learn effective communication skills, body awareness, and self-confidence. Acting, improvising, and gaining perspective relieves stress and tension through creative expression, and teaches kids that it is OK to be vulnerable, and it is OK to make a mistake. Learning and memorizing lines helps with mental agility while improvisation emboldens kids to think quickly and to respond in positive and helpful ways. We offer Acting and Musical Theatre classes for kids of all ages!

Gateway To The Arts was created by Co-Founders Julie (Kenyon) Warren & Karen Born-Cafaro in 2005.

“Our goal was to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students of the performing arts would be given a chance to explore and fully develop the skills of singing, dancing, and acting, while establishing friendships, making connections, and truly gaining a sense of self. We love talking to our students, helping them to establish goals, and ultimately, we enjoy doing everything in our power to make those goals a reality. It is a blessing to be able to say that we truly love our job.” – Karen & Julie
