This 10-Day Performing Arts Camp includes classes, auditions, and rehearsals which culminate in a full musical production performed by the students!
In addition to classes given by our own staff, the package also incorporates Master Classes with guest teachers from Broadway Shows such as WICKED and
LES MISERABLES, Universities such as NYU and COLUMBIA,
and National and International Touring Companies .
These classes and instructors will provide training in
Audition Techniques, Improvisation, Dance, & Voice.
This program is sure to be a high-energy and educational experience for
every aspiring performer!

Past camp shows include GREASE!, 101 DALMATIANS, ANYTHING GOES, PIPPIN,
WILLY WONKA JUNIOR, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and OKLAHOMA!

The varying age groups for the different sessions of our camp are as follows:
Camp Gateway: 11 - 18 yrs
Camp Gateway, Jr: 6 - 12 yrs

Please note that camp auditions are for placement purposes ONLY. All students who sign up for camp participate in the production, and every effort is made to highlight each child, whether through spoken lines, featured singing, or featured dancing. Auditions simply help the creative team (directors, choreographers, and music directors) cast the characters in the production
(as well as provide an invaluable audition experience for the campers!)
Students will receive a “camp packet” as their camp draws near,
and these packets will include all of the information needed for auditions and their two weeks at camp!

(ages 6-12)

AUDITIONS: June 19th & June 20th, 2009
DATES: July 6, 2009 - July 18, 2009
Camp is both weeks, Monday - Friday
CAMP TIMES: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
PERFORMANCE: Saturday July 18, 2009
PERFORMANCE TIME: 5:00 PM (all day rehearsal)

Cost: $400.00 - early registration (before May 15th)
Cost: $450.00 -  (after May 15th)

Camp Gateway
(ages 11-18)

ALL SHOOK UP
Built around the songs made famous by Elvis Presley, All Shook Up tells the story of a 1950’s small town girl with big dreams and the motorcycle-riding stud she falls for.  All Shook Up is a jukebox musical featuring the music of the classic rock star Elvis Presley, with a book by Joe DiPietro. The story is based on the plot of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.

AUDITIONS: July 24th & 25th, 2009
DATES: July 27, 2009 - August 7, 2009
Camp is both weeks, Monday - Friday
CAMP TIMES: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
TECH/DRESS: Saturday Aug 8, 2009 - All Day
PERFORMANCES: Sunday Aug 9, 2009
3:00 PM and 7:00 PM

Cost: $600.00-early registration (before May 15th)
