Cindy Dreispan

Cindy grew up studying ballet, jazz, tap, voice and piano, and began performing professionally at age 13.  She studied dance with Gabriela Darvash, Fred Danieli, Jay Norman and Pepsi Bethel among others and performed with the Garden State Ballet.  She has also appeared in commercials, movies and musical theater productions. Following a career in business, she developed and taught “Mom and Toddler” classes that included music, creative movement, and mildly structured sports, promoting both social skills and fine and gross motor skills in young children. She is now a certified instructor of the leading childhood music and movement program Kindermusik,  which focuses on whole-child development through song, movement, playing instruments, and stories. Cindy continues to study ballet and voice and is a cantor and song leader at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Whippany. She holds a BA from Montclair State University and is a member of Actors Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild. Cindy is delighted to share her love of music and movement with students at Gateway to the Arts.
