** There is a bus stop located at the entrance to GTA, so the area will be kept clear of parked cars. Please feel free to use this area as drop-off and pick-up for older students, being mindful of incoming busses!

DIRECTIONS:

From Rt. 80 / I-287 North
Rt. 80 East/West – Take exit 43 for Rt. 287 and follow the signs for Rt. 287 N. Take Rt. 287N to exit 44, Main Street Boonton. Follow the ramp to the right. Go to the stop sign. Make a right onto Main Street, and go through 2 traffic lights. GTA will be on the left side, across the street from the Post Office, and one level below Main Street. Use the staircase to the immediate left of the Main Street Boardwalk.

From I-287 South
Take exit 45 for Myrtle Street Boonton. Make a left at the end of the ramp on to Myrtle Street. Continue to the third light, Main Street Boonton. Make a right onto Main Street and go through 1 traffic light.  GTA will be on the left side, across the street from the Post Office, and one level below Main Street. Use the staircase to the immediate left of the Main Street Boardwalk.

From Rt. 46
Turn onto Boulevard, which is at the light across from “The Evergreen” catering facility. Continue on Boulevard until it becomes W. Main Street, which curves to the right past the Texaco station and Kings supermarket on your left. Go approx .6 miles where W. Main Street becomes Main Street in Boonton. Continue down Main Street, through the Boonton Ave traffic light, past Heavenly Temptations Coffee Shop and Don’s Sandwich Shop (both on the right hand side). GTA is on the right side of the street, across from the Post Office and one level below Main Street. Use the staircase to the immediate left of the Main Street Boardwalk.

MASS TRANSIT:

Bus: Take the Lakeland Bus (Route 46) to Boonton, NJ, which stops at the Boonton Post Office. Gateway To The Arts is across from the Post Office, and one level below Main Street. Use the staircase to the immediate left of the Main Street Boardwalk.

Train: Take the Montclair-Boonton Line to Boonton, NJ. Gateway To The Arts is less than two-tenths of a mile up from the train stop, across the street from the Post Office, and one level below Main Street. Use the staircase to the immediate left of the Main Street Boardwalk. Check NJ Transit for detailed schedule. www.njtransit.com

PARKING:

--On Main Street, there is two-hour free on-street parking where available. Also, Main Street parking is free after 5:00 PM.

There are also 3 public parking lots within walking distance of Gateway To The Arts:
--The first (and closest) lot is on Cornelia Street, the side-street next to the Boonton Post Office. This public lot, located approx ¼ of a block up Cornelia, offers free parking after 5:00 PM, and metered parking during normal business hours.

--The second lot is on Boonton Ave. Turn at the Boonton Ave. light and the parking lot is on the right, across from the Boonton Grill (2-hour metered parking, 25 cents per hour, 9-5, M-Sa). From the corner of Boonton Ave, cross Main Street and walk to the left.  GTA is less than one-tenth of a mile down Main Street, on the right hand side.
--The third lot is the Upper Plane Street lot. Turn at Plane St. (opposite the Boonton Ave traffic light) and the lot is on the right (50 cents for the day, 9-5, M-Sa). In this lot there are 20 spaces that offer two-hours-free. From this lot, walk up to Main Street and continue to the right.  GTA is approx one-tenth of a mile down Main Street, on the right hand side.
