Joey Staltari attended Montclair State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with concentrations in Voice and Choral Conducting. While at Montclair, he studied voice with Jeffrey Gall, conducting with Heather J. Buchanan, and was a member of the Honors Program. He was also a member of all three choirs at Montclair State and performed various works with the New Jersey Symphony, including Handel’s Messiah, Fauré’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. Joey is a proud alumnus of Gateway to the Arts and has directed the summer camp shows for the past four years. He is incredibly excited to join the voice faculty officially!
