A native of Wisconsin, Karen received her undergraduate degree in Music Education at William Paterson University and her Masters in Vocal Performance at the University of Southern California. Her accolades in college include Most Outstanding Senior Educator and the Faculty Award for Best Student at USC. In addition to owning her private vocal studio for over a decade, she has taught classes at USC and Columbia University, and is currently on the faculty at William Paterson University. Karen toured both coasts with The New Music Ensemble, and performed at Symphony Space with Metropolitan’s Contemporary Music Ensemble.
