Christina Aloisio

Christina Aloisio is a recent graduate from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. She is an alumna of Gateway to the Arts and is thrilled to be back! Chrissy has both performing and teaching experience in the classical, musical theatre, and pop genres and has been teaching private voice for two years at the University of Delaware. She has studied voice for eight years and has been involved in numerous opera and musical theatre productions. She was awarded 1st place in the University of Delaware NATS Competition in 2010 and recently attended the OperaWorks Intensive Program in Los Angeles. In addition to performing with various ensembles such as the award-winning UD Chorale, UD Opera Theatre, and the Harrington Theatre Arts Company, Chrissy has been highly involved with a cappella/pop music. She was Assistant Music Director for the University of Delaware’s premiere a cappella group, Vocal Point, who recently won 3rd place in the 2014 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Finals in NYC. Her group is ranked 8th overall in the Collegiate A Cappella Rankings and is featured on the Voices Only 2014 Compilation Album. Chrissy has been performing with Vocal Point for four years and is a featured soloist on their recently released album, Momentum. She is very excited to be working with the a cappella classes as well as teaching voice at Gateway to the Arts this year!
