Chrissy Aloisio is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. She is also a proud alumna of Gateway to the Arts!  

With over a decade of professional experience in classical, musical theatre, and pop/rock music, Chrissy has made a significant mark as both a performer and educator. Her performance credits include originating roles at Busch Gardens Williamsburg under Broadway choreographers Lisa Shriver and Karma Camp, with notable roles in productions such as Night Beats: RevampedFiends (She Wolf), and The Gift of Harmony (Ella/Vocal Captain). She also performed as a Swing in Europa Park’s original a cappella show, A Musical Christmas Party, in Rust, Germany in 2019.

During her college years, she was the Assistant Music Director for the University of Delaware’s premiere a cappella group, Vocal Point, which achieved 3rd place in the 2014 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Finals in NYC and was featured on the Voices Only 2014 Compilation Album. She also was the soprano section leader for the University’s award-winning top choral ensemble, the UD Chorale. 

Currently, Christina serves as the music director, choreographer, and social media manager for professional contemporary a cappella group, Backtrack Vocals, and is a highly sought-after director, clinician, and choreographer for various schools and arts programs. With Backtrack, she has appeared on HBO as the featured soloist in the series finale of PAUSE with Sam Jay, and has been seen on Kazakhstan’s national morning show “ОЯН!” in June 2023. She has also toured the US and abroad, performing at prominent performing arts centers, corporate events, private events, schools and music festivals. 

In addition to her work with Backtrack Vocals, Christina regularly performs with ADM Talent wedding bands and participates in various cabaret shows and concerts in NYC. She has been teaching private voice, musical theatre, dance and a cappella classes at Gateway to the Arts since 2014.
