Samantha Ivins is an alum at the University of Hartford’s, Hartt school of music and received her Bachelors of Music Education with a classical voice emphasis. She has a background in the Feierabend method of music education, and has her Kodaly level 2 and Orff levels 1 and 2. She has taught in the public school system for eight years, currently as a general and choral music teacher for an elementary school in Montville, New Jersey, teaching students Pre K all the way up to 5th grade. She is currently also pursuing her Masters of Music Education at William Paterson University. She has a passion for all different types of vocal styles and looks forward to teaching private lessons at Gateway to the Arts.
